The Daranee Perfecto Scholarship Fund was created in the spring of 2022 to honor the memory of Daranee Perfecto who loved education in travel. The fund provides scholarships to students who demonstrate a financial need and an academic interest in travel.

Daranee loved education and travel. It is with that in mind that we decided to create the Daranee Perfecto Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships to students who demonstrate financial need and an academic interest in travel.
TIMELINE
Spring 2022
The Daranee Perfecto Scholarship Fund was created with support from the 'Charity On Top Foundation', a 501c3 organization, and the charitable fiscal sponsor.
Summer 2022
The Daranee Perfecto Scholarship Fund commits $10,000 to the NYU School of Professional Studies, Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality for scholarships to students who demonstrate financial need and an academic interest in travel.
Fall 2022
In memory of the day that Daranee was born 65 years ago, a fundraising drive was conducted to raise funds. Thank you to all that donated.
Spring 2023
Our first in person event - A Celebration of Life" to support the Daranee Perfecto Scholarship Fund.
